I am trying to identify the location or name of the farm of my great-grandmother's family -- cannot read the old script in the parish registers for Hosanger parish, Hordaland county. One entry is for the birth of my great-grandmother, Christi Christiansdatter, 17 Sep 1845, to parents Christian Nilsen and Anna Johannesdatter, at Image 79 of the Hosanger register. Another entry is for birth of her sister Johana, 1 May 1843, at Image 50. A third entry is for marriage of her parents, 10 Nov 1840, Image 175, Hosanger parish official register. I can read the name -- Elsaas -- of the mother's family farm, but not the farm of Christian Nilsen's family. Any help is appreciated.

#26:

Groom's farm name looks like Næsse to me.

Others may still want to look...

Christian Nilsen was a twin, born at Synnevaag, baptized August 9 1807, see top record on left page.
His parents were Nils Olsen and Christi Wilhelmsdatter.

The parents were married April 6 1803, see last record in far left column.
Nils Olsen came from Nesse and Christi Wilhelmsdatter (Willumsdatter) came from Sletten.

Nils Olsen and Christi Willumsdatter was both 27 years old and at Nesse in 1801.
