According to a family search website, Agnethe Johannesen (dau. of Johannes Olsen) and Christian Syvertsen Forseth (son of Syvert Knudsen) married 28 Oct. 1883 at Oslo, Oslo, Norway. I have been unable to find this record to verify this marriage. Can someone possibly help me locate where I can find a copy of this record? Thank you, Dusty |

If you want to "travel" around in Oslo this map may be used.

The entry at FamilySearch.org for the marriage between Agnethe Johannesen and Christian Syvertsen Forseth (1883 in Oslo) - https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.2/MY33-3SR/p1
Also included in that information display is the following information near the bottom of the display: Indexing Project (Batch) Number: I07477-3 System Origin: Norway-EASy Source Film Number: 1282641 Reference Number: bk2 p165 cn50
If you take the Source Film Number of 1282641 and search for that film number in the library catalog also available online at FamilySearch.org that will tell you WHERE in Oslo or what church the records were taken from. It is then easily possible to use the online digitized versions of the parish record books for that church in Oslo and find the original record.
