Does anyone have information on additions planned to the digitized 1875 census record? Within Hordaland county, the Hosanger municipality is absent from the record, and the Lindaas municipality is represented by only one parish. I wonder whether these records will be added in the future, or whether they are simply lost.

The 1875 census for former Hosanger municipality, todays Osterĝy, is not online yet.

The 1875 census for Lindċs is online.

It appears that only the "Lindaas local parish" is included. The Lygre parish, including my family's farm at Myksvoll, does not seem to be included.

Hi.
The borders changed several times in this area.

Source: Digitalarkivet.
Lygra/Lygre sokn (sub parish) was transfered to former Alversund parish, todays Lindċs, in 1875.

Alversund parish with following sub parish´s; Alversund and Meland from Hamre and Seim from Hosanger was established 1885.
Lygra sub parish was included in Lindċs municipality in 1975.

Hi.
DIS-Norge (Dis-Norway) link is working with the 1875 census for Norway and has teamed up with Family Search in Utah for digitizing the 1875 census.
The response has been good and the 1875 census for Norway has taken priority among their Scandinavian projects, link

The original handwritten copies of the 1875 Norwegian census for Hosanger and Lindċs have been copied to microfilm(s) and can be ordered through the LDS FamilySearch website to have them sent to the nearest or most convenient LDS Family History Center near you where you can study them, copy pages, etc.
