What about this one? Born 09 July, not June... Gran is in Oppland, not too far from Lillehammer... There's a Hvalbye farm in nearby Land parish.

Karen is most likely #108.
The father Carl Carlsen and the mother Ana Andreasdatter engaged to be married when Karen was babptized Aug 16.

They were married Sept 3 1868, see #20. Carl was from Gran, Hadeland and was 21 years old, Anna was 26 years old and was living at Korsrud.

Exceptional information. Really grateful. I blew up the page with the #108 to 150% but still couldn't make out the writing. The immigration to LaCrosse makes sense since they lived in that area for many years. The dates are somewhat different. Jorgen's age in 1865 is given as 34 (born abt 1831), 5 yrs older than Kjersti born abt 1836, but the 1900 census lists him as 10 years older and gives birth as May 1825, a five year discrepancy, and hers as Dec 1834, a year or so different. Possibly a transcription error. The others all match. I think I will opt for the 1865 dates.

Are you sure the people in Humboldt, Iowa are yours?
A bit strange if Gilberts parents emigrated in 1867, leaving a 3 year old son behind.

Don't think the Iowa census for 1900 is them.
