Thank you for the reply. I have to seriously figure out about these people. I think we are getting two different families mixed up....they have such similar names.
In the above post, the "1865" link is my list of the family that I have always had. I do not think that the #1 link or the #163 link above are the correct people that are in the 1865 census.I have Pernille being born in 1842 and Ole born in 1850-51

Sometimes things can be learned from the confirmation records so here are two girls named some variation of Elizabeth with father named Torris. From 1835. I also checked two years before 1835 and two years after and did not find any other candidates.

Elizabet Torrisdatter Gravingen. ? Parents Torris Olsen and Pernille Pedersdatter

#15

Eli Torrisdatter Baltesbølhaugen Parents Torris Olsen and Mari Christiansdatter

#40

I think that this may tell us something. I think the first girl in the list Elizabet Torrisdatter Gravingen has to be the same person as the one born on Sept 4, 1819. However in her baptism record her father is listed as Torris Hansen. Here it is listed as Toris Olsen.

I think that the baptism record is in error and her father is really Torris Olsen.

That would make her a good fit with the marriage record.

I also went back to the baptism records for the children Pernille and Bernt and found a Iver Olsen Gravingen as one of the witnesses .

The second girl is the Eli that confused me and led to the posts that you found incorrect.

This is the marriage of her parents on Baltebøl

This is likely Iver Olsen Gravingen in the 1865 Census. How he fits in with your family remains to be found out.

Although I did notice that he has children boy named Torris and girl named Pernille,

Thank you. I think the Elizbeth Torrison Gravingen is probably our girl. Thanks for your help. I am sure I will have more questions as I go forward.

I agree, the error in the baptism record made the search a bit more difficult.

Now back to my question I posted on January 11. Sort of got off track trying to find the right people. My question was the best way to find siblings of Thorstein Pederson and Lisabet Torrisdatter. However, just scouring the church records is probably the answer.
We have determined that Thorstein Pedersen in this person: https://digitalarkivet.no/en/view/255/pd00000009113940
It looks like from lyndal40'spost on January 12, that Thorstens father had a child named Anne with a different mother in 1815. Perhaps Thorstens mother died before that?

This is the Lisabet Thorsteinsdatter that we determined: https://media.digitalarkivet.no/en/view/9161/46 #56.
I have looked on Ancestry but have not come up with anything. I am trying to find siblings to try to link some ancestor names. Thank you. Barb

A suggestion for searching for siblings. Sometimes the Confirmation records are easier to search than most records. I searched by scrolling through the names looking for a childs name with last name Torris* and then looked to see if the parents are of interest. Here is one in 1837. As posted earlier Elizabet in 1835. and Thea in 1837.

Thea Torrisdatter gravingen parents Torris Olsen and Pernille Pedersdatter

The years checked are 1822 to 1845. Not a lot of candidates

Probably the Confirmation of Thorstein Pedersen, Knappum, Peder Hendrichsen and Birthe ? (Is the last name Torstensdatter)

A candidate that we found for a sister of Thorstein. Confirmation 1831

Anne Pedersdatter Engelsrud Peder Hendricksen and Johanne Joensdatter
