Are these two in census-1910 the same person? I would think so, although the d.o.b. is different. Occupation is the same for both; Travelling, groceries.

Carl Brekke, Fredrikshald, Østfold.
Carl Brekke, Bærum, Akershus.

Carl H Brekke (15-Mar-1870 - 24-Apr-1957), buried at Vestre gravlund, Oslo
Ragna L Brekke (14-Aug-1872 - 27-May-1952), buried at Vestre gravlund, Oslo

The baptismal record for Ragna Arnesen is #145 - she was baptized Ragna Ludvikke, her parents were Carl L Arnesen and Andrine Amundsen.

The family in 1900.

thank you. I did not find this. The picture is from my tree on ancestry I believe. It was given to me by Ragna and Carl's daughter Solveig over 30 years ago. She was a wonderful woman who gave me an old family chart which started my lifelong hobby! How I wish I could go back and ask her questions knowing what I know today.

I think this is why I had confusion on his birth date. Must be the same person - the one with the "wrong" date is with his entire family so I know he is the right person in that record.

name: Truls Andreassen Braekke
gender: Male
burial date: 09 Nov 1903
death date: 31 Oct 1903
death place: Skoger, Vestfold, Norway
birth date: 04 Aug 1833
marital status: Married
indexing project (batch) number: B42388-4
system origin: Norway-EASy

This is probably his fathers death record. I am trying to locate it - says it is in Vestfold - I do not see any Skoger in Vestfold? I looked in Buskerud where the birth record is but do not see this death record. Where should I look?

thankyou!

You should look at Buskerud county; Strømsgodset: 1885-1909, Parish register (official).

This could be Andreas Ouensen's father: Auen Christofersen Gulserud.

Valborg Truelsdatter Brække is one of Truls' godparents. Most likely this one.
I think she is Hellene's sister.

Valborg Truelsdatter
Birth: 08 Jul 1797
Christening Date: 23 Jul 1797, Modum, Buskerud, Norway
Death: 15 Oct 1876, Modum, Buskerud, Norway
Parents: Truels Aslesen & Ingeborg Evensdr

Guldbrand Erichsen (31) & Walborg Truelsdr (21)
Marriage: 10 Apr 1820, Modum, Buskerud, Norway

Helene Truelsdatter
Christening: 09 Mar 1806, Modum, Buskerud, Norway
Birth: 28 Feb 1806
Parents: Truels Aslesen & Ingeborg Evensdr

The same couple has these two girls:
Helene Truelsdatter, 28 Oct 1802
Helle Dorthea Truelsdatter, 24 Apr 1814 (Also one of the Godparents at Truls' chr.)
