You may be interested to see the emigration record for Halver Jacobsen Bussesund, his wife Anne Knudsdatter and their children, see #2, 3,4, 19 and 20.

Thank you for the departure list Einar.....as I scrolled from page to page I found other Ancestors departing for America over the years.

It looks like Halvor Jacobson and his wife Ane Lisbet Knudsdatter were 1st cousins. Ane's parents are Knud Torkildsen and Kari Endresdatter and Halvor's parents are Jacob Endresen and Brithe Halvorsdatter, When I entered all this information into Family Tree it looks like Jacob Endresen and Kari Endresdatter were siblings. Was it unusual for 1st cousins to marry?
