Here is a record of Edward Kittleson's death. His mother's name is given as "Betsy Olson":

Here is an Ingeborg Olson age 60 resident of Vinje. Looks like she and Thorbjorg Fonneli are going to Northfield Minnesota:

Seems like the em. record for the mother Ingeborg Tovsdatter was not recorded?

Add. info.
From the 1865 census on farm Nedgaarden (The lower farm) we read that the father Kittil Ellevsen was born in 1824.

He was born on farm Oterholt Sept. 5. 1824.
Parents Ellev Ellevsen and Guro Olsdatter Oterholt, see #64

Bapt. Sept. 24 in Bĝ old church from ca 1100, link

And in the 1875 census too on farm Rĉvehulet (Fox-hole), a sub farm, link
Kittil´s occ. was saddlemaker and smith.
Aslak and Sigred were welfare recipents (not family members to my knowledge).
