Sigrid was living with the family in the 1920 Census. And Alma's name was spelled different.

In 1930 Sigrid is listed as a neice. So is Hans Rustad her uncle and the brother of Anton. Also it seems that Hans married a Sigrid and there are then two Sigrids. The older Sigrid who is married to Hans is listed as being born in Norway.
In 1940 Sigrid is found in Chicago and still single.

Reading Alma's letters again gives me more information (she wrote about her children so that I read it like a puzzle):
The oldest daughter (which has to be Sigrid) married a Denish man with the surname Nilsen.
That means Sigrid Nilsen could be her name after marriage? Living in Minneapolis and having two daugthers. |

At genealogybank.com there was a snippet concerning the birth of one of Alma's daughters, probably Esther. From the Sault Ste. Marie (Michigan) Evening News, Friday 18 Nov 1921:
"...A little girl arrived Sunday to Mr and Mrs Anton Rustad...." |
