| Hello there,I am looking for any information on Berthold J Stoa who emigrated from Norway don't know the birthdate on him or where he was born in Norway. thanks for any info |

Bertole Johnsen, Støa emigrated in 1873.
He was born Aug 2 1853, #49 - his parents were John Torkilsen and Berthe Maria Knudsdatter.
The family in 1865.

John Torkilsen, Strandeie and Berthe Maria Knudsdatter, Bergsundeie were married Oct 15 1837, #3.
They had the children:
Torkil (Nov 21 1837),
Knud (Sep 17 1840),
Kari (Jan 4 1843),
Gjertrud (Oct 6 1844),
John (Sep 29 1846),
Marie (May 17 1851),
Berthol (Aug 2 1853),
Erling (Oct 5 1855),
Gurine (Nov 10 1861).

Birthe Maria Knudsdatter was born May 16 1816, see #67. Her parents were Knud Olsen, Bergsundeie and Gjertrud Ellingsdatter.
John Torchildsen was born May 14 1816, see #104. His parents were Torchild Torchildsen, Strandeeie and Kari Guttormsdatter.

Yes, Viker kirke - in older baptismal records you will find Viger kirke. You may google "Viker kirke" to see pictures.

Torchild Torchildsen, his parents, Torchild Joensen and Guri Bjørnsdatter, and siblings in 1801.
Kari Gutormsdatter, her parents, Gutorm Larsen and Marit Gulbrandsdatter, and her siblings in 1801.
