Does anyone out there know what happened to Antonius Severinsen? He was born 28/9/1863 in Okendal, Nwy to Severin Olsen and Ellen Anthonsen. He was the Sheriff in Mojoen. A distant relative gives the following story about him.
One night Antonius came around to a farm where Julianne Larson lived with her brothers, to check on the farm. He saw Julianne & took her and was never heard from again. Out of that a girl named Borghild (my mother) was born she was raised on the farm. Antonius was never heard from again. Julianne on the other hand subsequently had a boy named Fredoff or Frithjov without being married. She did later marry the father of the boy. The fathers name was Jorgen Oseng, with whom she had three other children, one boy Kare and two girls Eli and Ingrid.
We have never been able to get any information on Antonius and need help.

Thank you for the information, jkmarler[/i]
I am having difficulty understanding it though as I do not speak or read Norweigan. Is this information available anywhere in english?
I received from another party information on my mothers confirmation and when I come to print it out it does not give me her data, probably because it is at the bottom of the page and its being cut off. Any suggestions?

These are index listings for Elen's and 3 siblings' baptisms. The original handwritten records will be in Norwegian--to be expected--:

Elen’s baptism index in English:
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/NHWS-TZQ

Elen’s brother Jørgen Anthonsen baptism index:
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/N4TT-PZQ

Elen’s sister, Ane Kirstine Anthonsdatter baptism index:
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/NHWS-17J

Elen’s sister Karen Anthonsdatter baptism index:
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/NH4Y-C2K

Because this in an index, not all the information in the baptismal record is included. The godparents (witnesses or faddernes in Norwegian) aren't included. It is sometimes valuable to know who they were to help further research. Also missing is parental occupation or status and whether or not the birth is legitimate (during parent's marriage) or illegitimate. This is a secondary record to the actual parish register which are reproduced online at the Norwegian Digitalarkivet.

Can´t find Antoius/Anton Andreas Severinsen in the 1900 census for Norway but his mother Elen Antonsen moved to Trondheim within 1900.

She lived in Ihlevolden (street) 2-4, 2. floor with Peter Petterson from Sweden and a son (Mikael) Julius Haukland.
Mikael was father to Bergliot b. 1900, the mother was Helene Kyvig from Stord Mikael was a journeyman painter, link
