Both Skotselv, Lier, Kråkerøy, Rakkestad and Fredrikstad is within ca one and a half hour by car.
New Zealand is the inhabited area on the planet that is furthest from Norway and also the country in the southern hemisphere where the nature is most similar to Norway.
Espesially the southern part of New Zealand.

It `s written in one of the columns reg Nicolai Bistrup;
"tienende" employed by attorney L. Henhschien on Hære, "ungkarl" bachelor.

The mother Marte Johannsedatter was from Hære eye, a sub farm under Hære.

parents; Laurits Lauritsen and Gunnild Sørensdatter Steen.

Laurits was from Skauer, todays Skoger
Gunnild was from Sigdal

Gunnild Sørensdatter age 3 and her 3 siblings.
Parents Søren Olsen, cottager and carpenter and Maret Tørgersdatter on farm Enger Sødre

Skoger in Sande 1801:
Most likley Laurits, the municipality boundaries between Drammen and Sande changed.
Laurits Lauristsen, fosterchild, paid for by the welfare agency, on farm Grydebakke

Gunnild Sørensdatter was from Eggedal in Sigdal.

The more records we bring up here, the chance that someone out there might know what happened with all the persons in the 1900 and 1910 census.
Lets see howe fare back we can get.

Gunnil Sørensdatter born on Enger Søndre (Southern Enger) 1799, bap. Dom: Reminicere (2. Sunday in Fast) Feb. 17. Father Søren Olsen Enger.
Godparetnts were close family or neighbors;
Gunnil Bergerud, Siri Finnebraaten, Guri Skadeland, Jon Bergerud and Anders Kienaas.
