If you give some additional information on her family we might harvest more about her in American / Canadian records to help us in Norway...

Annie was married on September 6 1893 in Milwaukee Wisconsin and she died on December 24 1898 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Her husband was Lewis Johnson. His mother was Anna Anderson and his father was John Johnson if that helps at all.

There is a Family Tree on Ancestry.com that seems to include your Annie Anderson. Shows that she and her husband had one child Harold La Verne Johnson. born May 27 1895 in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. However I can not find him the list of Wisconsin births on Ancestry. Any idea as to an alternative birth county for him. Usually Wisconsin birth records give some information on the parents. I see that this Family Tree has a copy of the marriage certificate but the information on Annie is very sparse.

Do you think she was living in Wisconsin as early as the 1880 US Census?

In an earlier posting by same author, an answer was posted indicating that the Anna Maria had died in 1882. I have added the post below. And you can view here.

Another option;
Annie was not named after her fathers lastname Andersen but acc. to Norwegian naming practice ?
Annies father first name was Anders, she was Anders daughter - Andersdatter-Anderson in the US ?

And she married Lewis; parents John Johnsen ad Anna Anderson.
Sounds like Lewis was from Norway too.
Lewis if he was born in Norway was probably Lars, Lauritz, Laurentius.

It is possible that Annie was born in the US, but according to her marriage license application, she states she was born in Norway.
