oh please forgive me, the first answer back to me i think would be the father to my steffen larssen born 1860 # 4300 3 on the digitalarkivet number 633 11 residence number 22 i did have him born in 1860, so i am assuming that his father steffen had the brother arfinn.if so that is good because now i have him and can enter him to my ancestry,com treplease all i ask is be patient with me, would the farm be the same.?

Your Gudve Endresdatter was from farm Gjerald, father was Endre Eriksen Gjerald, she married Steffen Larsen Rokne June 6. 1887, #18

Bachelor Endre Eriksen Gjerald and Ingeborg Eriksdatter Rongve married Mai. 26. 1857.
His father was Erik Svendsen Gjerald and her father was Erik Nielsen Rongve, #7

Ingeborg Eriksdatter Gjearld was born Oct. 13. bap. Dec. 25. 1836.
Parents Erik nilsen and Gudve Madsdatter, #14

Now we know who Gudve Endresdatter was named after.
Erik Nilsen Gjerald married Gudve Madsdatter June 20. 1837.

Erik Endresen b. 1874 farmer and owner of Gjerald living with the parents, occ. "Fĝderaad" a legal right on free supplies for both of the parents on Gjerald as long as they lived.
A fosterdaughter Ingebjĝrg Steffensdatter b. 1891 (a relative?).

Two sons Knut and Endre and a dau. Ingebjĝrg.

All christian ceremonies for this family was taken place in Vangen church or Vangskyrkja build ca 1277, info in Norwegian includes 9 fhotos, see here

The angel with the bap. font is made in Denmark 1820, the crusifix is from late 1600s and the rear part of the Altarpiece is from both the 1200s and 1600s

The last sister fom the 1875 census, Martha Endresdatter b. on Gjerald Mai. 29. 1869 married Ole Klaussen Vĉle in Voss.
3 children in 1910;
Seselja 1904
Klaus 1906
Ingebjĝrg 1907

Martha Endresdatter Vĉle b. Gjerald died 1927.
Ole Klausen Vĉle died 1927.

i am over thrilled at what you have sent to me, right now i feel i could reach out and touch them and you are the one to make this possible,i have been off the last couple weeks due to family emergency and i printed out all the pages and will slowly try to enter that into my family tree.i never knew the church and records so that is a very special thank you,
