I will be travelilng to Moelv to continue my ancestry research August 1st thru August 5th. I am a descendant of the Rundhaugen 343, Kroken 277a, and Solbergshagen 323b farms. I was looking at staying at the Solbakken B&B. Would anyone have any recommendations on where to stay in the area?

Thanks,
Mathew

Will you have access to a rental car? If so; you could widen your search to include the cities Lillehammer (40 min), Hamar (15 min) and Gjøvik (30 min), which have a lot of various accomodation to offer. All 3 cities where hosting the 1994 Lillehammer Olympics.
The Moelv/Brumunddal area is sparsely populated, so I guess some kind of transportation would be needed...
The figures above are driving time by car from Brumunddal.
The 3 cities are quite equally populated, but I think Lillehammer possibly will have most to offer for tourists.
