You got some clues as to WHERE to look and some hints about WHEN - so you can use other resources. A birth can be estimated from any census or parish record which recorded even an approximate age. A marriage probably not long before the first child - or about that. A death? not so easy. None of us knows how long we've got - neither did they. Live a long life or die young... how to guess? Often you just have to go through records - one page at a time, one year at a time. I'm still looking for my great-grandfather who died somewhere in Norway about 1916... someday I'll find it.
The detail available in the extensive parish church records is a marvelous gift from Norway. The Digitalarkivet web site has been adding scanned images of the original Norwegian parish church records for anyone with Internet access since November 2005. To be able to use the parish records you must first know WHERE in Norway you want to search for this documentation.

An English option is available by clicking on that word from either the left hand column or the blue link bar along the bottom of the homepage.
The scanned images are available from the homepage link "Skanna kyrkjebøker" [Norwegian version]/"Digitised parish records" [English version] which is listed along the left hand column and from the blue banner of links along the top section of the homepage.
When you click on that link another page will present a short list of choices - choose "Read the digitized parish registers"[English version]/"Lesa skanna kykrebøker" [Norwegian version].
After you've clicked on that link and a new main page has presented on the screen be sure and read the instructions that are available from the Digitalarkivet for navigating the scanned records. The instructions are available in Bokmål (official Norwegian), Nyorsk (Norwegian), Davvisámegiella (Saami), and English.
Recommended basic reading are the "Startsiden" [Norwegian version]/"Main page" [English version], "Brukerveiledning" [Norwegian version]/"User's guide" [English version] and "Om tjenesten" [Norwegian version]/"About this service" [English version].
Good information about translating the formats of Norwegian parish church records during various time periods, many of the basic terms used and understanding how to use the information should be studied at this web site -

The passenger list for the brig Ørnen in 1844 is quite incomplete. These ones were prob. on the ship. Since the ship didn't leave before May 22, people who signed out from the parish later in April might also be found on the same ship.

It's long, so I'll point you to the info re Ole Pedersen ... baptised in 1808, whose parents (Peder Iversen & Maritha Arnesdatter) were "at Ølnes in the 1801 census along with her two daughters, one from an earlier marriage & the other born out of wedlock before she married Peder I. ...Ole married Ragnhild Tostensdatter on 21 Jun 1831 in Sogndahl & they left for America in 1844."

The book you got this from is Norwegian Immigrants to the United States: A Biographical Directory, 1825-1850, Volume Two 1844-1846 by Gerhard B. Naeseth. This book has a more extensive list of the passengers on Ørnen about 110 passengers. The numbers you mentioned are assigned by the author or editor. Ørnen's numbers start at 782 and end at 892.
Typically this source gives a list of the sources used to develop information contained in the biography at each family, then in the back it has a more complete bibliography listing each of the sources.
If multiple spuses were known that information is included in the biographies. In most cases (as we all do assume) children born to a couple after a marriage belong to the marriage.
But wasn't your ancestor an illegitimate son of Anders Sjursen
Hundere with another woman and thus connected to Margit only by marriage or upbringing? Or do you have another connection to Margit than this?

Yes. My husbands 2x great grandfather was Andrew Severson (Anders Sjursen)who had a child with Gunnild Olsdatter. I would not have known this information if not for you at this website. That is the only connection. I have been to the Norwegian American Genealogy Center and Naeseth Library in Madison, WI. They helped me find the parents of Gunnild Olsdatter but that was all they could find. I have no idea of what happened to her. Maybe she moved to another part of Norway. That is where I got the copies of the pages you clarified for me.
I enjoy working on the family tree so I keep researching whoever is related even if distantly so. I am Danish and I wish there was information as good as Norway's.
I so much appreciate all the help everyone has given me and I thank all.
