Thank you so much for this information about Gunnild's possible burial. How sad that there was no respect given these souls. I never thought I would ever find out so much about Gunnild. I wonder if her son, Ole, who was born in 1846, lived with her until he came to America in 1854. By then she had married and was the mother of 2 other children.

Thanks again for all the information.

I doubt that. Gunnild had moved to Bergen by 1849.
Her son Ole emigrated from Sogndal in 1854, so he must have been living at some relatives(?) at the Hundere farm at that time.

Ole traveled with his Aunt Mette Dorothea Sjursdtr to America. Maybe she is the likely relative he might have stayed with. Thank you. I didn't know when Gunnild had moved.

Yes, it seems very likely that Ole's aunt Mette Dorothea Sjursdtr took care of him after he was born. Or maybe more likely, his paternal grandparents. But his grandmother died in 1849.
Sjur Johannessen Hundere (1785-)
Kari Andersdatter Alme (1783-1849)

Gunhild's son Ole is born 20 June 1846 in Sogndal and her son Hans Odin is born 27 Aug 1849 in Bergen. Thus; Gunhild must have moved in that period.

Another child to shoemaker Hans Ananias Tvedt & Gunhild Olsdatter. I assume he died before the 1865-census.
