Dif. to know where the first Hagedorn came from, probably Denmark, Germany or Holland, perhaps as a soldier or mercenary. A Lambert Hagedorn came to Oslo ca 1590 and became Citizen (right to trade) of Oslo 1606 and was a local judge from 1606-11 and owned farm Ringnes. From 1611-41 he lived on farm Seter, former "Krongods" owned by the king in the 1500. This Lambert Hagedorn is supposed to have given name to Lambertseter, Lamberts Seter. He is discussed here
Mentioned on several pages here as "Lambert on Seter" A translater

Admiral Seneca Christophersen von Hagedorn born 1680 in Denmark died at home in Fyn parish April 27.1750. He was married to Elisabeth Birgitte Rantzau, no children and they were separated. The name Hagedorn comes from his mother Anna Elizabeth von Hagedorn d. 1697 LINK The origin of his mother is unknown.
