Ingebor Marie Andersdatter Bæyer/Beier Bæver ? (means Beaver)
Bæver/Bever is one of the few remaining farms in Kongsberg, ca 1 mile north outside the centre.

You are right about Kongsberg church from 1740.
Very beautiful and Norways largest church with seats for 2400 persons in 3 floors, with the poorest on the 3 floor in the old days, but its place for 4000.
The church on Sunday was mandatory.
It happened that some went to sleep, but guards with long 3-4 yards long sticks some careful "knock-knock" to your head

There were several uprisings among the miners, delayed wages, poor food, moldy grain etc to full price among the merchants.

Today the limit inside the church are 1100 persons because of safety due to fire.

Kongsberg Jan. 2. 1768 Truels Olsen Narverud was godfather in to Børger Olsen Moens son Lars.

Ole was from Løcha, todays Løkka and Marthe Arnesdatter from Rønningsdalen when they married march 11. 1820.
Best men: John Moen and Christen Brua.
Right page #11
Rønningsdalen and Løkka are farms in Jondalen.

They married in Kongsberg.
I believe Ole was born in Jondalen/Granshera.
The 1865 census for Sandsvær;
Ole Inbrektsen born in Gransherad supported by the welfare agency and his wife Sønnev Hansdatter b. in Sandsvær on farm Knudsmyr.

Yes, he remarried with widow Sønnnev Hansdatter.
Civil status in 1865; "Inderst" lodger on Farm Knudsmyr with his own household.
Ole was very poor, a poor-pauper.

The owner Kristoffer Andersen was a wood-cutter for the Silver Mines

I will look for his 2. marriage and his birth record.
I have a feeling this is Ole Ing. on farm Rønningen in Gransherad 1801.
Parents: Ingebret Johnssen and Asloug Guleksdatter

Food and coffee time.

Seems to be a theme of woodcutters from the silver mines probably not very profitable. I think i read somewhere that if you were a crofter on a farm this would apply to my Original ancestor John Narveson that you needed to be a couple
to stay on the farm. He was married to a Barbro Ellefsdatter had one son Andreas and then I think his wife Barbro died in childbirth with the second child..Then soon after he marries Aslaug Olsdatte Ole Ingebrets daughter.

The reason there were so many wood-cutters.
This was before the dynamite, so almost all the forest in Kongsberg was cut down and the mining company had to get outside the town to provide enough wood for the Fire-setting

Back to Ole Ingebrektsen.
He married a 2. time to widow Sønnev Hansdatter Jan. 17. 1857.
The record confirms he was born in Gransherad, farmname Løkka (Løcha) and that his father was Engebrekt Johnsen Løkka #4
Ole Ingebrektsen on farm Rønning in 1810 census for Gransheard is the correct Ole.
