Yes, I found a Bertha Petersen for his second wife on ancestry.com. Thanks. But I also found a Harriet Henriette Hansen on ancestry. Confusing.

Hi, So sorry to hear about your mother, Linda.
About your most recent post, what are you looking at? What is confusing? The date and place for the wedding of Oswald and Harriet is posted. The original may show her maiden name is Hansen. She seems to have first married q Mr. Richter, so that's another record to seek. Her death record may tell her father's name. She legally changed her name to Hansen, as posted (or back to Hansen), so likely or possibly she and Oswald divorced before that point. Does that help?

yes, that actually does clear up a few things, thanks. Had that death record attached to Harriet, then deleted it, Guess I never considered possibility of divorce.

Hi, glad that helped.

Harriet was born 15 May 1897 in Oslo, according to her naturalization papers, as transcribed on Ancestry.com and previously posted. The SSDI death record dob differs, 26 December 1897. You were correct to hold off accepting that SSDI death record. It may be a different woman.
