Im trying to find Evelyn (Maybe Ruth Evelyn) Jacobsen, parents Inga Jacobsen and Jacob Jacobsen.
Inga dies in 1924, and Evelyn is working in a hospital in Kings in 1930. Irven or Irving is found in a orphan home in 1930. So i suppose that Jacob died within 1920-1930?
As you can see, Evelyn is born in 1913 and Irving (Kåre Irwing maybe) is born 1915.
Realy need som help finding this out  |

Perhaps this is her in the 1930 Census. Working in a hospital as a pupil nurse.

Looks like Jacob was still alive in the 1925 New York Census.

This might be the couple from the above marriage. If so there are some positives, such as the birth year and first name. Husband is probably the Mortimer Gelber from the marriage. Problem is a Aaron Jacobian is living with them and is listed as a father-in-law and born in 1868 in Russia?

Here is a candidate for Irving Jacobson. You mentioned that he was in an orphanage in 1930, do you have any informaton on what happened to him after that. What was the name he was found under in 1930 and where did he live.

Thanks for the answers :) Been without a computer the last days. Looks like you got the right person there lyndal40..
It looks like Irving died in 1994 and Belle died last month.. If thats the right Irving of course. Im trying to find out about the famely first of all and then see if i can find someone who is still alive and can get som update about what happend to Inga and Jacob :)
I did not Write this before, but Inga`s father and mother is mye great grandparents. Karl Johan Andersen, born in Norway and lived in New York a couple of years. before he went back to Norway with a new wife and kid :) |

But i dont know what happend to him. But it lookes like you found him with Bella?

Sheldon L. "Jake" Jacobson 1940 - 2009 Sheldon L. "Jake" Jacobson died Oct. 7, 2009 of natural causes. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. Dec. 4, 1940. Survivors include his mother, Belle, brother, Howard, daughters Alexei and Risa, foster niece and nephew Sangeeta Kashyap and Sushant Rao, an Uncle Saul, an Aunt Ida and several cousins. Shel was a businessman. He had many friends through his strong religious involvement. His musical talent was demonstrated by his ability to play numerous instruments. He was a kind and caring person who will be sorely missed. Arrangements are under the direction of Cremation Society of Idaho |
