| Looking for Norwegian relatives after this man who emigrated from fredrikstad norway, he was born march,1,1870 name me was john m andersen,he arrived in the states in 1887. his wife petrene pederson was born in oslo in aug,16 1866 many thanks |

This John Anderson also fits your post for brith year at 1870 and wife named Trena ( I assume shortened from Petrene), however the arrival year is listed as 1885 not 1887. Do you have more information that would allow a choice, or is it some other John M Andersen.

This also fits the description you posted with father-in-law also shown and in this record his immigartion year is shown as 1887. Seemed to have moved from Wisconsin to Tacoma WA

Same family in 1910. Here the immigration year is 1883. Do you have a reason for chosing 1887. And the name is Irene not Petrene.

If John M Andersens parents were Jens Laurits Andersen and Elen Marie Andreasdatter, they were married July 4 1869, see #38.

If John M. Andersen (John Marentius Andersen) and Petrene Pedersen (Petrine Caroline Pedersen) were married April 17 1897, Petrine is said to have been born in Mosjøen, Nordland her parents being Lars Pedersen (Lars Persen) and Elisabeth Kristine Benjaminsdatter.
They were married Oct 8 1865, see #29.

Johns parents were married in Glemmen, a parish close to Fredrikstad in Østfold county and Johns father Jens was then living in Lislebye.
Johns father Jens Laurits Andersen was born on Sandøen, Fredrikshald (Halden), Østold county.

Jens Laurits Andersens wife Elen Marie Andreasdatter was born in Skiptvedt, Østfold Sept 11 1845, see #30.
Her parents were Andreas Helgesen and Olea Erichsdatter.
Elen Marias parents and siblings in 1865.

Here is a post by a great-great grandson of "Elen Marie Andersdatter." He describes her as "born in Skiptvet, Østfold County, Norway on September 11, 1845, the daughter of Andreas Helgesen who was from Birketved, Østfold County, Norway." The great-great grandson says Elen is buried in Washington state, USA. In the post he wonders about the surname "Billet." There is a farm called Billet in Glemminge.

| Could there be many living descendants then after some of Elen Marias sivlings then in Norway? if not some or all of them emigrated to Amerrica too, in that cencus from 1865 Elen must be 20 and emigrated then or moved away and married with Jens Andersen? |
