Hi, I am looking for information on the Fremmergard farm, and Esten Olsen's ancestors. My mom's line of the Estensons comes from this on her father's side. Esten and his descendants were born in the Fadalen district of the Tynset area in Hedmark.http://records.ancestry.com/Jon_Estenson_Fremmergaard_records.ashx?pid=45742863

Not much info on Esten Olsen Fremmergard.
The farm is located to Søndre (Southern) Fådalen, a village in Tynset.
The first element is from the river Fåa and the last element -dal/dalen means valley.

1722 " Faadalske kobberverk" Fådalen Copperworks was established, but closed 1749.

The founder of the copperwork, Brostrup Tax, paid 20 RiksDaler in reward to Lars Faadal and Esten Faadal, perhaps Esten Olsen Fremmergard.
In 1714 Esten Olsen Fremmergard leased land on Vangen Nordre (Northern Vangen) where Lars Faadal was a crofter, the next year Ole Olsen cultivated Vangen Nordre, perhaps a brother of Esten Olsen Fremmergard.
