I'm looking for information on an ancestor,
He was born 25 Dec 1817. Norderkov, Norway
He married Mari Pedersdatter, (she was born 18 Oct 1817, Norderkov,Norway.
The were both baptized at Viker church,
They had 9 children. Helle, Anders, Martha, Kristian, Martin, Olea, Getter, Ida, and Gena.
The children's sirname turned out to be Strommer, in the USA,
Harald's father and mother:
Clemmet Haraldson V. Bergsundeie
Marte Nielsdatter
www.slektbase.elsrud.com isn't accessible. Did they shut the site down?

I'm looking for the family of Clemmet Haraldson also.. his father and grandfather..

The baptismal record for Harald Clemmetsen is #17. He was born at westre Bersund Eie, Norderhov.
His wife was Mari Pedersdatter, her baptismal record is #14. Mari was born out of wedlock at Schollerud Eie and her parents were Peder Thommesen and Helvig Andersdatter.

Clemmet Haraldsen, Bersund Eie and Marthe Nielsdatter, Kragstad were married Oct 21 1810, see last record on righ page.
Clemet Haraldsen, his parents and a sister in 1801.

So was Thommesen an adoptive father? I wish I could read Norwegian. I'm working on it though  Thank you sooo much! |

Peder Thommesen was her father, but he was not married to the mother when Mari was born.

Clemet Haraldsen, his parents and a sister in 1801.
I was able to find the information you gave me, except the marriage information 21 Oct 1810. The top of the page says 1809 ? All is good though. Thank you for your time

- the marriage date is given in the far righ column - year is given as 1810. (the link does not work for the momet)
