Thanks everyone. I am overwhelmed by your generous assistance. My cousin once remarked to me how valuable this forum is...she was absolutely correct.
We do not have the same access to Norwegian genealogy resources in Australia...so all help is greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,
David

Another daughter of Jørgen Knudsen Tvingeli and Guro Tarjesdatter was Anne b. 1877.
She married April 15. 1902 in Sauland sub parish in Hjartdal parish Knut Sveinson Bækkhus where they both worked, see 1902 #1

They settled Down on farm Knutskaas in Seljord as cottagers and had 3 children in 1910

The census tells she was born March 15. 1877 but the bapt. rec. tells she was born Feb. 20. 1877 and that the parents Jørgen and Guro married Dec. 30. 1876.

Knud was buried in the cemetery at Seljord church, see last posting from his death record on page 1 for #53 ...(Place of living) Aarhusmoen in Silj (Seljord) so Anne was buried in Seljord even Aarhusmoen is close to Flatdal sub parish in Seljord.

Enter this map and spell Aarhusmoen (Århusmoen)

You are welcome.

Anne Stenersdatter was 26 when she married Knud in 1845, born ca 1819 and acc. to the same rec. she was vaccinated against smallpox by Olsen April 4. 1820.
I have a candiate but the ink is blurred.
This Anne Stenersd? died July 2 Oct. 22 1857 on Aarhusmoen, age 30? is incorrect, age 36? is more correct, see #78

Actually you do. I have not noticed any links shared in this query thread that would NOT be available anywhere that Internet access is available.

For example - The Digitalarkivet website has been adding scanned images of the original Norwegian parish church records for anyone with Internet access since November 2005.

The Digitalarkivet website - http://digitalarkivet.uib.no/cgi-win/WebFront.exe?slag=vis&tekst=meldingar
An English option is available by clicking on that word from either the left hand column or the blue link bar along the bottom of the homepage.
A newer homepage has been put up at (http://http://arkivverket.no/eng/Digitalarkivet) and the same resources are available there although the links described below may be on other positions on the page. The older entry point is still operational until toward the end of 2014.
The scanned images are available from the homepage link "Skanna kyrkjebøker" [Norwegian version]/"Digitised parish records" [English version] which is listed on each homepage.
Clicking on "Skanna kyrkjebøker" [Norwegian version]/"Digitised parish records" [English version] will bring up another screen and listing to choose from. Choose "Lesa skanna kyrkjebøker" [Norwegian version]/"Read the digitised parish records" [English version].
After you've clicked on that link and a new main page has presented on the screen be sure and read the instructions that are available from the Digitalarkivet for navigating the scanned records. The instructions are available in Bokmål (official Norwegian), Nyorsk (Norwegian), Davvisámegiella (Saami), and English.
Recommended basic reading are the "Startsiden" [Norwegian version]/"Main page" [English version], "Brukerveiledning" [Norwegian version]/"User's guide" [English version] and "Om tjenesten" [Norwegian version]/"About this service" [English version].

Good information about translating the formats of Norwegian parish church records during various time periods, many of the basic terms used and understanding how to use the information should be studied at this website -

Searching Ancestry.com list of Norwegian Baptisms ( probably not a complete list but an easy one to seach) turns up only one Pedersen born in Seljord, 1847 +/- 2, father Peder Ols*, turns up only the known candidate Olaf Pedersen child of Peder and Anne. Maybe the Ole Pedersen in the 1865 census is an even more likely candidate for Olaf.

Norway, Select Baptisms, 1634-1927 about Olaf Pedersen
Name: Olaf Pedersen
Gender: Male
Birth Date: 13 sep 1847
Baptism Date: 21 nov 1847
Baptism Place: Seljord, Telemark, Norway
Father: Peder Olsen
Mother: Anne Stenersdr
FHL Film Number: 278302
Reference ID: 2:1H35LVJ

Olaf was born on farm Bugten in Seljord and Peder Olsen was from Gjersund.
Gjersund is a farm in Kviteseid
