I am trying to find where Alvilda Bergh came from in Norway and her journey over, her headstone with bo birthyear or deathyear is at the Naples cemetary close to Mondovi in Buffalo county Wisconsin,Alvilda is possibly relation to a Andreas Bergh,Andreas and Sjur Peterson Overboe 1822-1914 gave land to the church and cemetary there in Naples, pictures of the old church and homestead close to the church is welcomed too, many thanks.

Possibly this baby girl, born and died 1890:
http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/b/e/r/Richard-A-Bergh/WEBSITE-0001/UHP-0016.html

The above tree lists Eleda Alvilda as the first-born child of Martin Bergh and Karen Pedersen Overboe. Perhaps if you write to the church, they can confirm. No source given on the tree.

Tree also gives Martin and Karen a daughter Catherine Hoover. Find a Grave includes an obituary for a Catherine Hoover who married Martin and Karen's son Gerhard Bergh. Seems pretty unlikely Martin and Karen had a daughter Catherine Hoover. More likely the tree creator is confused about Catherine Hoover.

The ELCA - Evangelical Lutheran Church in America - maintains an online database that includes many Norwegian Lutheran churches. Gain access to these through Archives.com. Requires a fee. You don't say the name of the church, yet want to know where are the records. (Oops!) So you know, I have not searched for the name of the church, and thus didn't research whether it is Lutheran.

Here is the homepage of the family tree I posted. To find it, I clicked "Home." On this link you'll find contact information for the tree creator:
http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/b/e/r/Richard-A-Bergh/index.html

You can also reach the family tree creator - Dick - through this website. Click on the following link, then click on his user name, to send him an email:

Or click here:

Hope this helps.

And maybe other facts as well.

If you click on Catherine Hoover it takes you to a page that lists her as the wife of Arhur Calmar Bergh one of the children of Martin. There maybe several mistakes in this tree. There is a tree on Ancestry.com that has a list similar but not identical. In which there are different names and birth dates for several of the children.

This seems to be the Andreas that most of the trees list as the head of the family that came from Norway.

About Andreas Paulsen, I'm not understanding who that is. Martin Bergh father? Guess this OP comes in from the other side Karen Overbo side.

Here is Catherine's obit:
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=31043410

In some families a child born in 1890, and died as an infant, would still be remembered. Both my parents have stories of a child born in that era and died in infancy or early childhood. Maybe a canvas of descendants would turn up someone who has heard Alvilda's story. The cemetery marker says only "Alvilda Bergh" no dates, yet the tree creator (tree I posted) gives a full name and full birth and death dates. This makes me suspect he has or may have a legitimate source.

I had wondered when I looked at the Family Tree posted by Jane if the Vilas was really a member of the family, but here he is in the 1920 Census. The line for Martin is unreadable in the orginal, so I assume the transcriber took a shot in the dark and guessed it was John?
