I'll try to tell you what Anne Regine Olsen's death record says. This is Emil Konstantin's mother. She died when he was just fourteen. As posted earlier, here is the link for the record: Link

Kone (kone means housewife) Regine Olsen
Died 9/6 07 (means 09 June 1907) and buried 10/6 07 (means 10 June 1907)
at Gulskoger in Strømsgodset
56 years old
Son Reinard Olsen (I don't know why his name is called out; maybe he is executor of the will)
Her surviving children are:
Reinhard 29 years, and living in Ujoudalen?? Mjøndalen (thanks eibache)
Hariet 24 years, unmarried and living at Gulskoger
Wilhelm 20 years, living in America
Agnes 18, living in America
Konstantin 14, living at home

I'm happy to know eibache and others are here who can help if corrections are needed - but this is pretty close to what the record says.

According to the 1910 Norway census, Hariet was born 23.11.1882 in Skoger. (means 23 November 1882) and married Johan Anderssen. Johan's job was "Lokomotivpurser ved Jærbane." Maybe someone else can help translate that - I think it's a railway job. According to that census, this couple had a son born 25.11.1910. His first name was not legible, so the person who typed up the handwritten census put ??? The family to look at is the first four people on the list. Here's that link again: Link

Harriet was baptized Harriet Vilhelmine Dec 26 1882, see #47.
The family was then living at Rødskoven (today Rødskogen at Gulskogen)

- should most likely have been written Lokomotivpudser ved Jærnbane = Locomotive cleaner for the railway.

Hi lolamoore, The reason to talk about Emil Konstantin's sister, Harriet Vilhelmine Olsen b 1882, is that you were interested in finding descendants of his siblings.

As posted earlier, here is the 1910 census for Emil Konstantin's brother Reinhardt Olsen:

1910 at Mjøndalen in Nedre Eiker
Reinhardt Olsen 08.01.1878 in Skoger, father of the house, occupation: Sergeant Transp.
Inga Olsen born 01.11.1878 in Drammen, mother of the house
Nancy Olsen born 10.11.1901 in Skoger daughter
Astrid Olsen born 26.03.1903 in Nedre Eker daughter
Reidar Olsen born 30.06.1905 in Nedre Eker son
Ruht Olsen 22.04.1907 in Nedre Eker daughter
Ester Olsen 04.02.1909 in Nedre Eker daughter

Some or all of these five children maybe grew up, married, and had families - and these would also be living descendants related to you. Presumably "Ruht" is a mistake for "Ruth."

Reinhard Oscar Olsen birth record (transcription) 1878, below, in Bragernes parish. Parents' residence is Bragerøen:

Reinhard Olsen in Mjøndalen mentioned here:
http://www.eiker.org/Artikler/Offentlig_virksomhet/Samferdsel/Mjondalen_bru/mjondalen_bru_s1.html

Then the other two siblings of Emil Konstantin can be investigated - Wilhelm Olsen born about 1885 and Agnes Olsen born about 1890. They are the two who went to America, according to their mother's 1907 death protocol.

Wilhelm Olsen was born 21 March 1886 at Strømsgodset, Buskerud.

His full date of birth may help identify him in America.

Birth of Emil Konstantin Olsen's sister Anne Marie, 24 March 1890:

Agnes returned to Norway, it seems. See 1910:

Their children:

Someone has made a family tree on MyHeritage for Emil Konstantin Olsen's family. For mysterious unknown reason, he is listed as Emil Konstantin Jensen born 1893. Parents are listed as Oluf Olsen born 12 May 1852 at Assen, Mjøndalen and Regine Kopangen born 1852 in Skoger, Drammen, Norway. The tree tells much more; I haven't checked it out (I'm not a member and can't access it).

Aha - the family of Emil Konstantin discussed on DIS-Norge:

Hi Lola, if you're not sure where to go, just click on this link:

http://www.norwayheritage.com/snitz/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6311

Harriet married John Anderssen and lived in Norway, as far as we know. We found her in the 1910 census.
Agnes married Elling Lande and also lived in Norway.

Two links were posted for Wilhelm on page one of this topic. The links were to his migration record, leaving Norway and his WWI draft registration card (wherein in was registered in Seattle)
