Morstu/Mostu is the name of the forest between Eidsvoll and Stange. I could not find any waterfall nearby the farm but came over a photo of Mostufallet your family left 1867 taken 1959

Another name of the farm was Solbakken "Sunny hill"

- that's have been referred to a couple of times in this topic. The mother of Berthe Marie says Johanne Larsdatter - the confirmation record I have shown says the mother was Else Olsdatter.
The tree also list 3 halfbrothers - the mother of Gulbrand and Martin is Else Olsdatter - so they are brothers.

Jens Kristoffersen bought Mostufallet G nr 189 Bnr 2, see photo, 1866.

The harvest was ;11 Barrels of Cereal, 30 Barrels of potatoes, 30 Skd (abbr. for skippund, an old measurement) ca 10 US ton of hay.
The farm could feed one horse, 2 cows and 6 cheeps.

I mixed up Jens K. and Ole Henriksen sorry , but your Ole also lived on the farm with his Family. He was a carpenter when he emigrated to Chicago

Mostufallet was a very small farm, the value in 1866 was 155 Spd (Spesiedaler), ca 43 000 Norwegian Kroner in 2014.

This info comes from this book Mostufallet Gnr 189 bnr 2 line 12 and 13.
