Lynn gives us a link or at least a number. Is this the same #12 that I referenced on page 1, or is this some other Jacob Hansen.

#12

Great find Jackie on the two families leaving in 1851. The group matches up well with what we have found on the family. I venture to say that the named wife and mother in the leaving family named Marthe is the same person as found in the 1801 Census named Marthe Svendsdatter and born abt 1798, whose parents are listed as Svend Pedersen and Mari Knudsdatter and living on Sørum Østre.

1801

Probably their marriage,

Svend Pedersen
in the Norway, Select Marriages, 1660-1926
Name: Svend Pedersen
Gender: Male
Marriage Date: 27 okt 1795 (27 Oct 1795)
Marriage Place: Skedsmo, Akershus, Norway
Spouse: Mari Knudsdr
FHL Film Number: 123396
Reference ID: 2231

Original record, farm is listed as Nord Volden

#11

Lynn I am really doubtful about the validity of the name Severine for the wife of Jacob Hansen.

This is probably the marriage of the daughter Sophie Jacobsdater to Ole Hansen in 1845

Name: Sophie Jacobsen
[Sophie Hansen]
Gender: Female
Marriage Date: 5 jan 1845
Marriage Place: Skedsmo, Akershus, Norway
Father: Jacob Hansen
Spouse: Ole Hansen
FHL Film Number: 123396

I think we can eliminate the Jacob Hansen whose confirmation is covered under #20 as he was born in 1799, probably too early for the Jacob Hansen that Lynn seeks. But just in case this is likely him in the 1801 Census on Houger Nordre. Father is Hans Sørensen.

1801

Number #12 looks to be associated with the farm Soelberg as best as I can read it.

This might show some promise. Looks as if he was bon some date in 1804 in Skedsmo. The farm is probably Soelberg found in the 1801 Census with however no Hans living there.

1801

The Jacob found by Jackie born in 1808 with father Hans Olsen is #2 There are only two Hans Olsens in the 1801 Census for Skedsmo. One born in 1791 who we can eliminate and this Hans Olsen born abt 1753 with second wife Inga Michelsdatter and three children.

1801

The one found by Jackie is especially interesting because the name Michelsdatter is rather rare and both Hellene and Peder had sponsors with the last name of Mikaelsdatter. This is likely the marriage of Hans Olsen and Inger Michelsdatter.

Inger Michelsdr
in the Norway, Select Marriages, 1660-1926
Name: Inger Michelsdr
Gender: Female
Marriage Date: 22 nov 1789
Marriage Place: Skedsmo, Akershus, Norway
Spouse: Hans Olsen
FHL Film Number: 123396
Reference ID: 2069

#16

Farm names on the original marriage record are Vestvolden for Inger and maybe Berg? for Hans Olsen. Looks like Hans Olsen was a soldier.

Hans was a widower and a soldier and Inger was a widow also. The two witnesses (or bondsmen?) were Ole Berg and Hans Loken.
