Without access to sources I am again humbly asking the community for answers.
Albert Joakim Molde born May 5 1882 in Kristiansund, Norway and died May 16 1939 in Brooklyn, NY. Assumed to be a bachelor but did he ever have a family? What did he do for a living?
Alberts sister Petra Oline Molde born on May 3 1873 at same place as her brother and died December 5 1954 in Suffolk, NY. Except from her Norwegian son Bernhard did she have a family?
Petra's son Bernhard Lumholtz Molde was born on July 18 1903 at same place as his mother and died on December 8 1993 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Married to Helen E Molde 1904-1992. What did Bernhard do for a living and did they have children? Available information on Helen E Molde is also of interest. |

In the 1940 Census Bernhard is listed as a Electrical Engineer for a utilities company.

This link on Family Search has a large number of other links on Bernhard that you can click on to learn about his life.
Here he is living with his mother Petra. I have not seen any evidence that Petra had any other children.

It looks like Bernhard served as an engineer officer during WW2:

There is a marriage license from 1949 at Ancestry for Bernhard Molde and Helen E Selander. If this is also the actual year of marriage and she was born in 1904, there probably weren’t any children in the marriage. |

To JKmarler - Petra's given name in Norway was Petra Oline. As I can remember one one occasion somewhere that Oline was anglicized to Olive. Maybe you were on to something in your "deleted" post. |

That Petra was actually born in Minnesota about 1891 or so, so cannot be yours who was born in Norway. |
