Well, the Marie Olsdatter who died in 1871 was single, never married when she died.

And here is the tree's Marie Olsdatter in the 1865 census:
https://www.digitalarkivet.no/en/census/person/pf01038084000121
born about 1812 in Norderhov

Their marriage #51:

Brukslenke for sidevisning: https://www.digitalarkivet.no/kb20070314630090

Also the marriage at familysearch, incorrectly indexed as Gud Marie Olsdatter. Gud is a misread of the abbreviation Gmd "farmer's daughter""
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QHV-13PP-QCGR?cc=4237104&personaUrl=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3A683L-9ZGT

Birth / Baptism of some of the children of Ole Bjornsen Kittelsbye and Marie Olsdatter:

And there is more than one Mari Olsdatter Ole Bjornsen couples in Norderhov marriages. Here is another marriage (the birthdates match the tree's more closely but not the farms) # 3 in 1823:
Norderhov kirkebøker, SAKO/A-237/G/Ga/L0003: Klokkerbok nr. I 3 /2, 1814-1876, s. 406-407

Marriage #51 Erik Nubsen and Guri Christophersdatter, their fathers are Nub (incorrectly indexed as Niels) Andersen and Christopher Tortensen.

Torstensdatter, Torstensen, Torkildsdatter, perhaps Aase and Christopher are related?

One of Guri's faddernes is Anne Marie Torstensdatter Olde,

Before the publication of Ringerikse Slekter, many of the Norderhov farm stories were published in Ringerikes Blad. Here is Oppegaard:

Anne's birth /baptism # 106 and her birthdate is 6 July or 16 July not 4 July 1836. I have been unable to find her death at the Washington State Secretary of State digital archives death records.

Here #7 under Krodsherad is a marriage between an Ole Evensen and Aase Torstensdatter:
Sigdal kirkebøker, SAKO/A-245/F/Fa/L0003: Parish register (official) no. I 3, 1793-1811, p. 459-460
Quick link: https://www.digitalarkivet.no/kb20070312640061

Says Ole Evensen is from Sogndalen. Krodsherad is on the western border of Norderhov.

#82 Aase Tostensdatter death on Nymoen (the same place Ole Evensen and his son Peder Olsen were on in 1865)
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QHV-B3PP-SKBW?cc=4237104&personaUrl=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3A683K-JFFR

Possibly Aase Tostensdatter in 1801 census (interesting that the farm owner, her employer is named Torchil Torchilson. In some records she is called Torkjilsdatter, perhaps a conflab of those two names?)
https://www.digitalarkivet.no/en/census/person/pf01058273003252

Birth / Baptism of an Aase Tostensdatter to Tosten Gunbjornsen Skinnes in Krodsherad:
Sigdal kirkebøker, SAKO/A-245/F/Fa/L0002: Parish register (official) no. I 2, 1778-1792, p. 47-48

Hey Jackie! I apologize for being so late, my week has been crazy busy! I like the way you go about your research; a lot of information. However, while I am trying to follow the path, I must ask if you would agree that there are too many Ole's to possibly track down the right one, the grandfather to my Peter Evensen Simon from Marigaard?

Because it certainly looks to me that way, and I don't want to waste your time

What I would like to find better documented, is that this Even Olsen, was the same Even Olsen born April 13, 1815 to Ole Evensen and Aase Tostensdatter. The evidence are in his favor; the estimated year of birth matches and he named his eldest daughter Aase Mathea, his assumed mother's name. He looked like a good candidate when I found him, and still does, but it worries me that no other confirmation has surfaced.

I am with ToreL on this one, that's why I am hesitant.

Let's close this out and pursue a different direction, that of Engebret Evensen, Perhaps we can find descendants in that direction.

You want even more. You have six in your tree.('')

Although you do have a mystery mam in the 1910 Census.

Kristian Engebretsen
Age/born: 1906-05-23
Place of birth: Norderhov

Listed as a son, but Engebret was dead by then?

Sorry Anton - Kristian was, and I don't know where I have the information from, but he was born on 23 May 1906, so he would have been born before Engebret died. However, these six children may be easier to track down than Even. I apologize for all the mess, but I am giving up on Even Olsen. There are just too many..
