According to this family tree a younger sister of Johannes and the others also was in US. Named Marie Helen Mathisen she died in Kansas in 1969:

The so-nicknamed "Old Man Draft" of 1942 was a real thing. The hope was to have services from the elders for security and other things in US in case of invasion...

The "Old Man Draft" was a little before my time, but I remember the draft very well. I registered for the draft in 1958 and in 1964 I got my draft notice. I had been expecting it so had made some plans. I went out to Fort Snelling and joined the Army Reserves as a part of the 5501 Army Field Hospital. Six years as a medic in the Army Reserves. Not a bad place to be in those times.

Based on the Family Tree from Jackie's post above this must be Helen Marie Mathisdatter in the 1910 Census. Called Susie here. Except for Susie names seem to fit and ages but she is listed as married but the marriage listed above has a date of 1913? Also she is listed as being born in Wisconsin.

I do not usually do much research in Swedish genealogy but here is a little on Frans Victor . His parents seem to have originated in Sweden moved at some time to Denmark and then back to Sweden again. The Family Search tree that Jackie posted to has some Sweden Household Examination Records which seem to be some form of Swedish Census Records.

https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Sweden_Household_Examination_Records_(Husförhörslängder)

This one for the family seems to be from 1886 to 1889.

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSGC-53NJ-Z?cc=2790465&personaUrl=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3AQLP7-RLYQ

It has the family including the mother, listed here as Bothilda Carolina Holmberg born 4 Sept 1854. in Cimbris (probably Simris Parish, Kristianstad County).
