My grandfather, Hjalmar, left Kristiania, at 20 years of age, electrician by profession, on the SS Montebello, April 25, 1902 and his destination was Boston, USA. I have not been able to find what ship he took after landing in Hull to sail to Boston, MA USA. Can anyone help me with this information. Thank you so much.

Hi Jewel,
I guess this person is your grandfather.

Passenger lists from Boston are available on microfilms, and if if you are close to a "LDS Family History Center", you should be able to view them there, or maybe at a local library offering these services. Find your nearest LDS History Center here.

Links to the microfilm you need: Click here or here.

Index, 1902 - 1906
Index to Passenger Lists of Vessels Arriving at Boston, MA, 1902-1906.
Jan. 1, 1902 - June 30, 1906.
National Archives Microfilm Publication T521.
Semi-Alphabetical card index.
11 microfilms.

Your "Hjalmar Thoresen" should be on roll #10...

Jan

Hi

I saw on Internett that you are related to Thorer Thorersen at Bokøen in Spydeberg. My 3rd Great-Grandfather was Thorer Thorersen. My link is his son Olaus Thoresen b. 1842.
>It would be nice to hear from you.

Best regards
