Lester and Tormod, Thank you for sharing the information you both have found.

Yes, Svan Gran from Phillips, WI is the uncle that sponsered Nils Harry to come to America. Just a few years ago I contacted his great grand daughter.

I knew Nils Harry parents had been to the US. I still haven't found a date of when they came or when they returned to Sweden. I think they went back to Sweden because of a great fire in Phillips, WI that burnt down the whole town (July 1894). Nils Harry alway said he was made in America but born in Sweden. So I think his parents left the USA for Sweden sometime after March 1895 and before he was born in Dec 1895. I believe that Gustav died a few years after returning to Sweden. Selma then married Carl Larsson.
