You give little info... no age for Anton, no port of exit??? Records on this website indicate that the Hero (2) regularly took passengers from a route of Trondheim, Kristiansund (sometimes also stop in Bergen and/or Ålesund) .

The Hero (2) was not a trans-Atlantic ship. It only took emigrants from various Norwegian ports to Hull in England. There are excellent articles on this website to explain that in a great detail.
The best surviving records in Norway will be the emigrant protocol lists kept by the police, not a passenger list.
http://digitalarkivet.uib.no/cgi-win/webcens.exe?slag=visbase&sidenr=23&filnamn=EMITROND&gardpostnr=53824&sokefelt=skjul

From that database you could extract a list of all the persons ticketed to leave on the Hero 30/31 May 1888 from Trondheim. There are also some databases available for the other ports at the Digitalarkivet website.

Can you help with the translation of the information?
Also, when I hit the blue number to the left it just refreshes the screen. I'd like to find out more about his family and ancestors. ANY help is appreciated.
Thanks

You need to do some reading and acquaint yourself with basic Norwegian research. There are many links on this site to finding information and dictionaries to help you read old records. There is a Help section on Digitalarkivet to help you learn what is available and how to research.

The more you learn, the more you will find.

This Enebakken farm is located in Rissa, Sør Trøndelag. Anthon Ellevsen (2) is living there together with parents and 9 siblings.
(Rissa = "Ritsen")

Anton was born March 21. 1864 and bap. April 10 in Rissa church, child nr 46. Parents: Ellef Xstophersen Enebak and Anne Johnsdatter.
http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=2383&idx_id=2383&uid=ny&idx_side=-79

There are 6 farms named Moe in Rissa and many "John" names, so for that reason it seem that his Moe name is coming from his mother, but only church records online (not available yet) ore a local "Bygdebook" might give an answer to that. Select Sør-Trøndelag and Statsbygd.

Enter http://kart.finn.no/ write Rissa, press søk and enter Rissa church where Anton was christened. Revmove mark "fjern merkelapp fra kartet" and change to satelite.

You folks are the best! This is incredible information and I thank all of you.
Any photo of the farm that I can get are great. I'd like to put them into my family tree program and print them in a book. So, anything that you can email is good. No need to print photographs or mail them.

I'll see if I can get some pictures one of the closest days, right now we are having a nasty winter storm. We just made it back home from skiing at Åre in Sweden before the roads were closed Thursday. Now we are just waiting for the weather to permit some outdoor activity again.

On the FINN kart page it comes up with 2 Rissa's, Tettsted or Kirke. Which one do I use?

Borge: The photo's can wait for the weather. Not a problem for me. Perhaps as the weather warms up and you can see the land better would make for a better photo. Are you capable of sending photo's by email?

Thank you so much for doing this.

Hi,
you can use both, Kirke means church and Tettsted means population centre.
