Now looking at the Horrnes Bygdebok again, it would appear that your family line and mine intersect a little earlier probably about 1700. . As I intrepret it there is an Ola Tolleison Abusland, grandson of Børuf Abusland married to Guro Guttormsdatter Kalland. Among their children were Tollei Olson Abusland from whom my family line descends and Åsmund Olson Abusland from whom your family line descends.
I will take a look at the bygdebok a little closer.
I was able to get a copy of the Hornnes bygdebok from the University of Minnesota library. I just need to figure out the language as i am just starting to research Norway. Spent the last 5 years or so researching in Morthern Sweden, so that should help some.
