No, I found it on page 16 of the orginal ships manifest using Ancestry.com. Enter Theo Igeland in the search box for Immigraton and Travel and only one link pops up. Follow that to the ships manifest. I will send a link to you by e-mail.

It also states that she is Norwegian and is travelling to brother-in-law Charles Anderson, 612 Jackson Street, Ames, Iowa.

Jens, just in case I might have not understood your question, here is a link to the emmigration record. It can be found in Eimgrantar frå Stavanger 1903-1928. Enter Laura in the Førenamn and she is at the bottom of the first page. Click on her and Thea Egeland is right above her #4619.

Hi,

Hmmm.

Here is a link to the page showing the 1900 US census listing for this Andrew. It says he came in 1887 and is a naturalized citizen. No wife is present but he is listed as married:

Here is the Utah d.c. for this man:

There is a Andrew Egeland living in the United States with birth year of July 1864 and yes in 1900 he was living in Colorado. There is also a Andrew Egland born in June 1865 who in 1900 was living in De Kalb Illnois. He is the one who has been written about in most of the posts in this topic. The Colorado Andrew Egeland is listed as married in the 1900 Census but no wife is shown.

Hi,

I thought it was page 1 but if you look at the newspapers, unless the page number is printed on the original you don't have a number. A lot of old newspapers were printed without page numbers. The pages are called "images" at the site and numbered. One might assume the smallest image number in the order of the dated newspaper might be page one, the next number higher, page two and so on but look first at the image to see if the number appears.

If you scroll up at the top and left it says page 8.
