The 1900 US Census lists Theodore as the son of Jacob and Bertha Eik. So Maybe Ole is his uncle.

Here is the arrival of Theodore to America. Manifest looks like he was travelling alone. Destination Montana. Also note that he carries the Olson name. Last residence is given as Flekkefjord, hard to read so could also be Lekefjord?. More informaion on the where going part but hard to read. It may say that he is going to his father Ole Tollefson ?? in Carbon Co Montana. So maybe the census data is wrong.

Sometimes you can't trust the indexing!

There is a Theo in the Jacob & Bertha Eik household and appears to be a daughter.

Ole T. Vasbo and his son Theodore Vasbo are members of a 3 person males only household next door to the Eik family. There is an unusual entry after Ole's and John's listing in the household however...and the numbering of their household is, in the enlargement, crossed out probably leading to the indexing of the three with the Eiks.

Blowing up the original it reads "at M Arthurs" whatever that may mean.

Theodore Olson Vasbo's entry at Ellis Island is extremely hard to decipher because of a bad combination of pen, ink and paper. He is #24:

Here is a family on Vasbøe in Helleland, Rogaland in 1865 Norwegian census with 2 Ole in the family one aged 6 other aged 1. They are, however, sons of Tønnes:

Yes appears to be the couple who were the parents of Theodore. Neither have been married before and they age to match the ages of the couple in Theodore's baptism.
