I am absolutely amazed! Thank you so much!

It makes sense that his dad was dead by that point, since his mom remarried the Knud fellow and had at least John with him.

So Martin's mom's name was Agnete Olsdatter (Ole's daughter?) and his dad was Mathias (I can't decipher the two names). My dad said his mom's middle name was Olina (not Olena as I had written), and there was a sister named Oline. My aunt also named her daughter Karen, and there was mention before of a Severina (not sure if that's how Syverine is prounounced).

In that Ringsaker emigrants list cited above, there are 90 Severine / Syverines

The baptismal record for Agnethe Olsdatter, born March 20 1840, is #28 - her parents Ole Larsen and Sissel Stephensdatter, Byen.

Agnethes parents were married Nov 19 1834, see #52
- Ole Larsen was then a widower, 44 years old and his father was Lars Mikkelsen.
- Sissel Steffensdatter was 30 years old and her father was Steffen Olsen.

Ole Larsen, his parents and a brother in 1801.

Sissel Steffensdatters parents and siblings in 1801.

The baptismal record for Mathias Pedersen, born Jan 1 1832, (Martins father) is #29.
His parents were Peder Knudsen and Kari Torstensdatter, nordre Mæhlumseie.

Peder Knudsen and Kari Torstensdatter were married April 20 1824. see #538 on right page.
Peder was 26 years old and born on Sørhougseie.
Kari was 25 years old and born on Skougseie.

Peder Knudsen and Kari Torstensdatter in 1865.

Peder, his parents and a sister in 1801.

Karie (Kari), her parents and siblings in 1801.

Martins father Mathias Pedersen died on farm Mikkelsveen Nov. 17. buried Nov. 24. 1874, see #69.

Mikkelsveen was the same farm Martin was born on.

Rinksaker church from ca 1100.

Martins sister Antonette Mathiasdatter b. 1858 married Andreas Larsen Oct. 28. 1887 in Ringsaker.

The family on Dalsven 1900 with 6 children.

The name of the mysterious nephew is Asbjørn Syversen Stueløkken! His mother is Agnete Mathiasdatter, born 1874. She was a younger sister of Martin Matson.
