My great grandfather had two brothers who emmigrated from Trysil, Norway to the US. I am looking for any living relatives of Per Persen (born 06/12/1876) and Petter Bertil Persen (born 04/11/1880). I have found one of their sister, Desema Peterson, but unfortunately she passed away in 1996 in Spokane, Washington.
Thank you:-)

Therese

Do you know when Petter Persen immigrated. Here is a Petter Persen Toraasen leaving in 1901. Would he be one of the brothers.

Need the parents' names. Are birthdates according to American style? (06/12/1876 = June 12, 1876 and 04/11/1880 = April 11, 1880). What makes you think these brothers emigrated to the USA? Also would be great to have name and location of your great-grandfather; could be a clue, as the brothers might be nearby. Are there also other siblings or relatives in the USA? There are many of similar names, living in USA, and born about same time in Norway; by sharing all you know of these brothers you can help the forum to find them. Thanks!

Back in an edit with jwiborg finding, parents:
Per Persen Talaasen born 1850 Trysil
Berte Danielsdatter Talaasen born 1852 Trysil

His parents

Petter Persen Toraasen is born 27 Aug 1880, the son of Per Eriksen Storjordet & Anne Pernille Andersdtr. Not the correct person.

Here is a link to the marriage record Nutting / Agnew nuptials:
http://www.digitalarchives.wa.gov/DigitalObject/ViewAsJpeg?ID=51AC1D3064F8758C3C74E3C6D287B62C&ViewAsJpegPage=0

It lists her parents as Peter Sater or Satre (or maybe Hater / Hatre) and Bertha. Maybe the brothers went by Sater / Satre /Hater /Hatre?
