Both Valen and Sundsvalen are farms in Sauherad.

The Family tree seems to have mixed Sundsvalen in Sauherad with the town Sundsvall in Sweden.

You are welcome.
Many of my ancestors are from Heddal, and have read a lot about the farme there, sometimes the bell rings.

No chance Jon Halvorsen Akkerhaugen was born ca ca 1714 in Sauherad
.For incest it was death penalty or forfeiture of the entire wealth and criminal work.

Kare: I have a glitch - Halvor Ostensen Holla's (1691)) son Halvor Halvorsen 1731 married the daughter of Jon Halvorsen Ackkerhougen (1816) (Helge Jonsdatter1744)

...If Jon Halvorsen Akkerhougen was born in 1816 ...he couldn't have had a daughter (Helge) that was born in 1744 ....what have I screwed up ??
Obviously there must be two Jon Halvorsen Akkerhougen ...an uncle to Jon (1816) ??....you posted one born in 1714 ??

All these new names can be confusing.

Halvor Halvorsen Gyving 1730-1787 married Helga/Helge Johnsdatter 1744- d. 1828 on Gyving.
Her parents; John Halvorsen Akkerhaugen died on Gyving 1806 age 92 age 87 (born ca 1714) and Barbara Helliksdatter d.on Gyving 1790 age 87 (born ca 1703).

Halvor Halvorsen Gyving 1730-1787 was halfbrother to your Ole Halvorsen b. 1732 on Gyving died 1801 on Akkerhaugen in Sauherad (They shared the same mother, Anlaug Olsdatter Midstrand 1706-1767)

Is it still confusing or have I missed something or mistyped a date?
