There are 3 Ann/ Anna/ Anne Thompson deaths in Fillmore county between 1910 and 1920. Here is the first in 1914, the other two died in the first half of 1920. (Since the 1920 census was taken in January that year, and Walter is listed as a widower in the 1920 census, the 1914 death is most ripe for exploration):

THOMPSON, ANNA
Date of Birth: na
Place of Birth: na
Mother Maiden Name: na
certid# 1914-MN-004186
Date of Death: 01 Dec 1914
County of Death: FILLMORE

Does not seem likely: https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/FDS9-6BP

She is, as they say, a bit long in the tooth and so is off the table.

The Rime family were, or at least the father was, Halling, I believe, so not very likely to be the correct person, unless she was adopted?

Here is an Esther Viola Thompson about the right age in a household in the 1920 listed as niece:

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/MWY4-1FB

The Minnesota Birth Index at familysearch also has 4 children born to Earl Kenneth Lamb and Esther Viola Thompson.

Here's their marriage from MOMS:
WATONWAN 06/20/1939
LAMB, EARL KENNETH
THOMPSON, ESTHER VIOLA

Here is part of her obit so this Esther is off the table as well:

"Esther Viola Lamb, 96, after a long illness, died Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Bethany Community in Alexandria, her home for the past 10 years.

Esther was born December 31, 1914 in St. James to Hattie (Gossweiler) and Charles Thompson. She graduated from St. James High School, where she lettered as a forward on the girls’ basketball team and participated in theatrical productions, as salutatorian of her class.

She was united in marriage to Earl Kenneth Lamb of St. James on June 20, 1939 at First English Lutheran Church. Their marriage was followed by the births of their first three daughters."

Yes, the Anna in Fillmore is not the Anna Anderson living in Denver, CO 1910--will keep checking on her whereabouts...and where the children went prior to 1920
thank you for the contributions and the Alice Thompson born 1905, was written as Ana--will keep checking this as well-
blessings to all!

Found Alice Thompson (15) with the Kjono family along with Esther, who is stated as 9, when she was born 1908 ? for the 1920 census in Oscar, Otter Tail Minnesota, which I had seen before--

no mention of Clifford (1903) who would have been 17----
so that means Anna Anderson Thompson passed before the 1920 census possibly in Minn

Yes, The Esther Lamb is probably not Esther Viola Thompson due to birth location--

I don't think that the Kjono family is related to Alice or Esther Thompson--so that may not be the correct Alice for the 1920 census listing-

Otter Tail county is interesting since Lars Paulson Vegge family (using Paulson) came to Otter Tail by 1875. Lars Paulson's wife was Valborg Gabrielsdatter and they came from Suldal and they left in 1862 and were in Fillmore county in 1865. It's worth an exploration.

The biggest problem is that all four Thompson children are grandchildren of the head of household and Clarence's and Louis' birth dates and names don't match the boys in Walter G. Thompson's family.

Going back to the family of Enoch Andersen, who most likely is the father to Anna Anderson.
Widowed mother Sarah Anderson (60) looks to be Ingeborg/Isabell's mother, since Enok's mother Anne Marta Jensdr is born about 1806.

Here are 3 children born to Enoch Andersen and Ingeborg ("Isabell") Johnsdr of Newburg, Elstad, Fillmore Co., Minn.
16 May 1873 Johan Adolf
25 Jul 1875 Edvard
26 Jun 1877 Bernhard
In addition to these 3 sons, they have these children:
Andrew Anderson, b. 1867, Minnesota
Anna Anderson, b. 1869, Minnesota
Sophia Anderson, b. 1871, Minnesota

Some info about the family and the youngest son Bernard E Anderson

This is the data I linked to on page one for Enoch Anderson. His mother is Siri which could be Anglicized to Sara. The birth date matched the date in his death record. toI haven't gone look for the actual baptism. Done now. Most censuses records say that he migrated in 1865. If so, would he even have been in the 1865 census since it's actual taking date is 1 Jan 1866?:

Ok. Strange. The 1865-census says that Enok is her son. Her, meaning the woman on line above; Anne Marta Jensdr (50). Maybe wrong census?

Enok Andersen
Father-Biological: Anders Eriksen Raaen, born 06 Nov 1811, dead ab. 1862
Mother-Biological: Sigrid Larsdatter Solemsgjerdet, born ab 1817
Enok Andersen emigrated to America. Han was born 10 Mar 1843 in Frosta, Nord-Trøndelag.

There lots of Sarah in Fillmore county with the right approximate age. Here is a Sarah Anderson at findagrave, don't know if it's the right one or not but there is a note also known as Sigri Spilde:

Enok Anderson came to Minnesota in 1868, according to A Comprehensive Index to A.T. Andreas' Illustrated Historical Atlas of Minnesota, 1874 by Mary Bakeman and A. T. Andreas (Jun 1992).
