Late to this conversation, sorry if repeating something already discussed but yeah there is another Anne Stenersdatter who could possibly be the mother of children born in 1844 and 1847, #47:

Source information: Telemark county, Seljord, Parish register (official) nr. I 11 (1831-1849), Confirmation records 1844, page 211.
Permanent pagelink: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=1401&idx_id=1401&uid=ny&idx_side=-214

Her parents moved to Seljord about 1828.5.

#2, #3 at bottom of left hand page:
Source information: Telemark county, Seljord in Seljord, Parish register (official) nr. I 10 (1815-1831), Imigration records 1822-1828, page 313.
Permanent pagelink: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=7978&idx_id=7978&uid=ny&idx_side=-166

She had at least one sibling. #39 Ingeborg Stenersdatter:
Source information: Telemark county, Seljord, Parish register (official) nr. I 11 (1831-1849), Confirmation records 1840, page 196.
Permanent pagelink: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=1401&idx_id=1401&uid=ny&idx_side=-199

#46 female worker, Ingeborg Stenersdatter moves to Kvitseid in 1841:
Source information: Telemark county, Kviteseid, Parish register (official) nr. I 6 (1836-1858), Migration records 1842, page 590.
Permanent pagelink: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=1381&idx_id=1381&uid=ny&idx_side=-598

A possible marriage for Ingeborg Stenersdatter Hægtvedt in Kvitseid:
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/NWMJ-V1Y
#34
Source information: Telemark county, Kviteseid, Parish register (official) nr. I 6 (1836-1858), Marriage records 1844, page 395.
Permanent pagelink: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=1381&idx_id=1381&uid=ny&idx_side=-406

Ingeborg's second child #121 Stener Iverson, there is an Anne Løsedal in the faddernes but not clear if it's Anne, Ingeborg's sister:
Source information: Telemark county, Kviteseid, Parish register (official) nr. I 6 (1836-1858), Birth and baptism records 1845, page 113.
Permanent pagelink: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=1381&idx_id=1381&uid=ny&idx_side=-117

Ingeborg Steenersdatter's death #58:
Source information: Telemark county, Kviteseid, Parish register (official) nr. I 6 (1836-1858), Death and burial records 1847, page 491.
Permanent pagelink: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=1381&idx_id=1381&uid=ny&idx_side=-502

A brother Halvor Stenerson b. 1833:
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/N4RS-VRW

Halvor's actual baptism #28. The "address" of the family is "Hægtvedt. Hvitesde. Seljord" Could a sheriff cover a larger area than just one parish?
Source information: Telemark county, Seljord, Parish register (official) nr. I 11 (1831-1849), Birth and baptism records 1833, page 10.
Permanent pagelink: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=1401&idx_id=1401&uid=ny&idx_side=-12

An interesting juxtaposition of the family of Stener Halvorson with the 2nd family of Stener Evenson:
This Halvor's vaccination record #36, Gudmund Stenerson's #37
Source information: Telemark county, Seljord, Parish register (official) nr. I 11 (1831-1849), Vaccination records 1835, page 367.
Permanent pagelink: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=1401&idx_id=1401&uid=ny&idx_side=-372

Hegtvedt is apparently in the Kviteseid jurisdiction, here is link to page. Stener Halversen is mentioned several times. In far left column on left page is apparently a legatees listing and settlements of Halver Skalv (?):

Hmm here is a Dagni Svennungsd b Moland, widowed, in the 1865 census. Age is a bit long however, so just a possible:

The widow Dagni Svennungsd moves into Kviteside in 1841, #29; but there are some details that I can't quite read, if someone else can assist:
Source information: Telemark county, Kviteseid, Parish register (official) nr. I 6 (1836-1858), Migration records 1841, page 589.
Permanent pagelink: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=1381&idx_id=1381&uid=ny&idx_side=-597

Widow Dagni Svennungsd leaves Seljord #1, future husband Stener Evenson is #11, daughter Ingeborg Steenersd is #12 on the utflyttedes (right hand) page:
Source information: Telemark county, Seljord, Parish register (official) nr. I 11 (1831-1849), Migration records 1841, page 345.

Thanks for the headsup on Dagne and Svennung, I hadn't put them together at all. Here is their marriage #20:

Permanent pagelink: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=1381&idx_id=1381&uid=ny&idx_side=-397

The death record also relates to her, as she is called a farmer's widow moved here from Kvitseid (Hviteseid):
Source information: Telemark county, Lårdal, Parish register (official) nr. I 6 (1861-1886), Death and burial records 1876, page 313.
Permanent pagelink: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=1385&idx_id=1385&uid=ny&idx_side=-274

It would be interesting to know the rest of the story here for family dynamic, Stener Halvorson lensmann in Seljord #63 and his son Halvor #64:

Source information: Telemark county, Kviteseid, Parish register (official) nr. I 6 (1836-1858), Death and burial records 1839, page 462.
Permanent pagelink: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=1381&idx_id=1381&uid=ny&idx_side=-473

Hegtvedt is mentioned as in Brberg. I've seen Brunkeberg mentioned in numerous other entries but am unfamiliar with the geography, political or geological here.

Hmm Here is the death record farmer's daughter Anne Stenersdatter on Hægtvedt, age 19. If she is the mother of Anders Gunderson, she cannot be the mother of Olaf Pederson, #19:
Source information: Telemark county, Kviteseid, Parish register (official) nr. I 6 (1836-1858), Death and burial records 1846, page 486.

Here is another possible Anne Stenersdatter but at the opposite end of the age spectrum. I can't tell if her record tells if she is single or married or what.

Anne Stenersdatter age 50, #7:
Source information: Telemark county, Seljord, Parish register (official) nr. I 12B (1850-1865), Death and burial records 1852, page 389.
Permanent pagelink: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=1403&idx_id=1403&uid=ny&idx_side=-174

Don't know if this Anne Stenersdatter is single, married or widow but age is 44 and she is moving into Seljord with her son Stener and his family in 1849:
Source information: Telemark county, Seljord, Parish register (official) nr. I 11 (1831-1849), Migration records 1843-1849, page 355.
Permanent pagelink: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=1401&idx_id=1401&uid=ny&idx_side=-360

Baptism of Anne Stenersdatter's son Stener Knudson #12:
Source information: Telemark county, Brunkeberg in Kviteseid, Parish register copy nr. II 1 (1815-1842), Birth and baptism records 1819, page 19.
Permanent pagelink: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=7985&idx_id=7985&uid=ny&idx_side=-22

Marriage of Anne Stenersdatter and Knud Halvorson #10, her age given as 29 (does not match her age at moving into Seljord 1849 of 44):
Source information: Telemark county, Brunkeberg in Kviteseid, Parish register copy nr. II 1 (1815-1842), Marriage records 1820, page 199.
Permanent pagelink: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=7985&idx_id=7985&uid=ny&idx_side=-165

I think you are spot on, born 1806 in Ancestry record above and born 1807 as calculated in the 1865 Census.

From the 2007 thread, transcriptions of the birth-baptism records of Anders and Olaf:

from eibache:
"The name is Anders, born May 1 1844, christened June 9. His mother was 'Ugift Quinde' unmarried woman Anne Stenersdatter Bugten i Sellej. (Seljord) 'der udlegger som fader gift Mand' - who gives as father married man Gunder Jørgensen Toe. Godparents were Maria Ketelsdatter Svarvaren, Niels Ketelsen Svarvaren, Tarje Skoland, Maren Nilsdatter Bugten and Gunild Nilsdatter Bugten.
"Anders was baptized at home by Ole Knudsen Strandstøl and since he was an 'uægte' child the information was 'Anmeldt af Barnemoderen selv i Nils Svarvarens Nærværelse' - given by the childs mother herself with Nils Svarvaren as a witness."

also from eibache:
"Olaf 'twilling' - twin, was born Sept 13 and Nov 21 'i Sellj. stadf. dpt.' - in seljord (curch) confirmed christened (at home).
His parents were 'Ugift Quinde' unmarried woman Anne Stenersdatter Bugten 'og Peder Olsen Gjersand, enkemand' - and Peder Olsen Gjersand, widower. Godfathers were Gunild Hunsaas, Dordi Smeland, Helge Svarvaren, Guttorm Smeland, Halvor Smaadalene. Since Olaf was an 'uægte' child this information was 'Anmeldt af Barnets Moder Selvstendig' - given by the childs mother alone and Olaf was 'hjemedt. af' - christened at home by Jacob Terjesen, Aase.
In the last column is noted 'Quindens 2det Leiermål'- the womans second 'uægte' child - 'dette barn war twilling med et andet som war dødfødt' - this child was a twin with another who was stillborn.
"In the records for burried you will find the record for stillborn child. 'Ugift Quinde Anne Stenersdatter Bugten og enkemand Peder Olsen Bugten Uægte og Dreng samt Twilling med et andet Barn som lever' - uægte and boy together with another child who is living."

* * * * * *

So these names of persons associated with the two baptisms are the known connections of David's Anne Stenersdatter - relatives or friends or neighbors. As Jackie earlier suggested, a clue to Anne's identity may be found here, so thought I'd add these transcriptions to this current thread (with thanks to eibache).
