I have a 3rd Great Grandmother born illegitimately in 1851, her parents are listed but I don't think they married as far as I can tell, I can't find any record of it at least. My question is how do I find her parents parents if I can't find their marriage records which is usually how I could figure something out? I will put the birth records and marriage record of my ancestor below.

https://www.digitalarkivet.no/en/view/327/pv00000004451895

https://www.digitalarkivet.no/en/view/255/pd00000005166083

Thank you everyone in advance for any advice.

If you look on the birth records it says a Sande Parish for the father I find this an interesting contender for the Mother but I can't really prove it

Well you do have a tough one here. Pauline Olsdatter, the mother of Anette Hansine is listed as a Pige. That usually stands for an unmarried girl. Pauline Magrethe Olsd Nordal is married in 1850 so she would not fit that criteria .

In the original (scanned) version of the 1851 baptism, the mother is written as Pige Pauline Olsdatter Folde af Ous Præstegjeld, which means that she came from Ous Parish. Ous was a common spelling of Os, which was a parish South of Bergen.

As Anton observes below, there is more text following this. I can't read it, but possibly it says that the child was born at Skaalevig while the mother (or parents) were on their way to someplace starting on B. Bergen would be a guess, but it doesn't quite look like it.

Here is a link to the original record, There is quite a bit of writing after Pauline Olsd Folde, that I can not read. We need to get someone, perhaps Tore or Jackie to try and read that section and see if there is any information in there that might shed some light on either the father or mother.

I have not found Anette Hansine in the confirmation records for Askøy. Looked from 1865 to 1867.,

The original birth record shows she was probably born in St. Jørgens hospital, Bergen.

So perhaps left for some other part of Norway from Bergen and never returned to Askøy,

Here is her 1875 Census record I didn't list it because I didn't think it had anything relevant to the parents but maybe it has something. All the other records I have of her are American records

Thanks for the 1875 Census. This is such a tough find that any info might prove to be useful.

Yes, I did notice that I suppose I am grasping at straws here. I guess I'll just have to see if someone can read the text that was mentioned.

Okay, I did as you suggested hopefully that leads to something. This is a very frustrating one, other lines of my tree go far past this but it's been holding me up very bad.

Yes, she died there in 1922 I don't know if any records in the US that would be of any help figuring out her Grandparents but here is her family search profile

This is the response someone gave me

You are correct in believing the child was listed as born in Skaalevig. The place name is written in the column for birth date with no further explanation. Furthermore there is an explanation at the end of the column for name of parents, saying roughly:
Note: the parents, who appear to be engaged to be married, stayed temporarily at Skaalevig while traveling to Bergen.

(OBS Forældrene, der skal være forlove...[cut off by the black shadow between left and right page] tog [or 'toge', the oldfashioned plural] in paa Skaalevig paa en Reise til Bergen og ag...[probably 'agdtede', again partially obliterated by the shadow) ...[? either 'uopholdelig' or 'opholdelig', that is either without pause or after a pause] at begive sig til deris ...[?Hjembygd?]
My reading is that the father was 'sea faring' (Sö Farende), and it is possible that the word before Sö was Ungkarl -that is, he was not married.
