This statement comes from a Family Tree. found here http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=ethy&id=I9299 giviing her name as Anna Brivold. Is Brivold just the same as Bruvoll where Andrew was from?
There was a Sada Jackson, the daughter of Andrew Jackson and Anna Brivold born in Utica, Crawford, WI who married a Fredrik Lee on 24 Jun 1903 in Sterling, Crawford Co., WI. This record was found in the IGI files at familysearch.org The mother's name could have been Anna Anderson Brivold.
I also found Fred Peter Lee and Sadie Jackson giving birth to Florence Geneva Lee on 28 Feb 1907 in Utica, Crawford County and this time it said "Sadie". Found at: http://files.usgwarchives.org/wi/crawford/vitals/births/v2-3-kl.txt |

Hi,
If you click to the daughter Barbo in that database, Barbo was born in Norway in 1867 prior to the given marriage date of her parents in 1871 in Minnesota...And in the section on the daughter Barbo it says her mother died when she was 18 i.e. about 1885. If these things are true that Anna is not likely to be Anna Andersen in Wisconsin.
There are 627 women of all ages and places & fathers in the 1865 Norwegian census of the name Klara. The majority of these are in Oppland fylke. Breaking down by age categories no regard to last name, looking only for those Klara with either a husband named Anders and / or a daughter named Anna and found only this couple:

Going back to cover some of the old ground, I found Andrew Jackson in 1880 US Census, must be just before he married Anna in Nov of 1880. It shows him with a son 4 yr old Jacob and is lilsted as a widower. In the 1910 Census he is living with his sister Sadie and family.
Name: Andrew Jackson Home in 1880: Utica, Crawford, Wisconsin Age: 29 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1851 Birthplace: Nor Relation to Head of Household: Self (Head) Father's birthplace: Nor Mother's name: Meta Jackson Mother's birthplace: Nor Neighbors: View others on page Occupation: Farmer Marital Status: Widower Race: White Gender: Male Age Andrew Jackson 29 Jacob Jackson 4 Meta Jackson 70 Jens Johnson 14
I wonder where Anna is living at this time. |

Hi.
I am not switching anyone. We talk about in a previous posting about Jakob Johanness and this is his wife. I am just naming who was his siblings.
This is nothing different then my first posting from the wedding posting I first posted.
The posting was the name of her husbands siblings in relation to Jens posting about the cousins showing up on the census.

What information do you need? All I have in Ancestry.com under her name is the marriage record from the first posting, Census records from 1900, 1905, and 1910 about the family. In those census records, they give me the year of the possible birth, and two possible years of immigration of 1867 and 1869. The name of the parents from the marriage record. thats it. I do not have a date of death, or anything else.

Hi,
Well, I was thinking an actual obit, the actual marriage license or record, both church and civil records if they exist, actual baptismal records for each of the children she had with Andrew, actual physical documents, anything to narrow down where in Norway she was from.
This is not to be nosy but just to narrow down where in Norway she is from. Having an actual physical document is advised simply to arm yourself with information and lessen the possibility that you are dealing with someone else's interpretation of fact as in a transcribed record.
We all have the same access to internet here. Any of these things posted here are things anybody could search for online.

Jackie, interesting that you came up with the name Anna Sime. I did a search for all females in Crawford, Wisconsin in the 1880 US Census. Born in Norway from 1837 to 1842. There are very few without husbands, in fact the only one to catch my eye was Anna Sime. I posted the Census data below, but two things that are not shown. He mother lives next to her with a son and her name is Kari Sime 66 yrs old, no husband listed. Secondly the farm next to Anne on the other side belongs to Lewis Jackson the brother of Andrew Jackson who married Anna. The only problem is the son Andrew age 3. We do not see him in the 1990 US Census but perhaps he is gone since he would be 23 by then. Also a Anne Sime is shown in the Wisconsin Death Records as dying in 1891. However there were two Anna Sime's in the 1880 US Census. There was also a girl 14, daughter of Ole and Brita Sime living at the same place as the mother Kari. I suspect Ole is a brother of Anna the one with the child. Name: Anna Sime Home in 1880: Utica, Crawford, Wisconsin Age: 40 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1840 Birthplace: Nor Relation to Head of Household: Self (Head) Father's birthplace: Nor Mother's birthplace: Nor Neighbors: View others on page Occupation: Keeping House Marital Status: Widowed Race: White Gender: Female View image Household Members: Name Age Anna Sime 40 Andrew Sime 3

Hi,
Yes she was interesting for a few moments. There is a Christian Pederson Sime marrying Ingeborg A Fyeldkansted in the Crawford County records online but there is also an Inge A Seime marrying an Atle Helland in 1882. Not sure that this will be productive.
But the actual marriage, if performed in a church, may have more identifying information plus witnesses who are often relatives or friends...
