This might be where the OP gets her arrival information from.

Elias Olsen
in the Canada, Ocean Arrivals (Form 30A), 1919-1924
Name: Elias Olsen
Gender: Male
Estimated Birth Year: abt 1898
Birth Place: Norway
Age: 26
Date of Arrival: Apr 1924
Port of Arrival: Quebec
Port of Departure: Stavanger, Norway
Ship Name: Carmania

Lists himself as Fisher and is seeking work, going to Torn Sorensen of Rupert BC.

Nearest relative in Norway is Magnhild Aavold friend of Aakilhaven? Karmoen ?

In the Karmøy book online, there are only 5 people with Magnhild name. The one that is roughly contemporary with Elias Olsen is this:
?. 1898 -????: Oluf Jakobsen , født 1872 i Stavanger
Sønn av *Ukjent opphav
Gift i 1895 med Severine Endresen , født 1873
*Ukjent opphav (Kom fra Haugesund)
Barn:
a)Randolf født:1895

b)Andreas født:1895
c) Bergit Kristine født: 1898
d) Magnhild født: 1900
e) Ola født: 1902
f) Nille Johanna født:1903

Is there any indication on the record of marital status?

Here is the family of above Magnhild in the 1910 Census in Stavanger.

1910

And living on Aakrehavn, Åkra in 1900. Good match with the data from the arrival document for Elias Olsen.

1900

And a good match location wise with the family of Elias Olsen also on Aakrehavn, Åkra in the 1900 Census.

1900

If you click on the arrows for Previous Domicile and Next Domicile they are next to one another in the census data.

We can rule out Elias Olsen from Aakra, he is not the correct guy. He died as a Mason in 1958.
Born 30.11.1897
His Parents: Ole Oliversen & Hanna Lovisa Eliasdatter
His wife: Hanna Bertine Ånensdatter
His Children:
a) Ole E, 17.Sep.1920
b) Ånen, 14.Apr.1922
c) Henry, 15.Oct.1923

He emigrated in 1927:
Canadian Passenger Lists, 1865-1935
Name: Elias Olsen
Gender: Male
Arrival Age: 29
Birth Year: abt 1898
Birth Country: Norway
Departure Port: Liverpool, England
Arrival date: 14 May 1927
Arrival Port: Quebec, Canada
Vessel: Aurania
Original says he is from Arkara Norway,,
Going to friend Thor Johnson, Prince Rupert BC. and left wife Mrs. Hanna Olsen, Aarkara PR, Stavanger

Elias Olsen in the Massachusetts, Mason Membership Cards, 1733-1990
Name: Elias Olsen
Birth Date: 30 Nov 1897
Death Date: 9 May 1958
Last Residence Place: New Bedford
Lodge: Quittacus
Occupation: Fisherman

Is this guy the same person as on the 1924 Carmania?
Likely, according to this finding from jkmarler:
Elias Olsen
(male) 1897 g Fisker Aakra 1924-04-14 Emigrants from Stavanger 1903-1928
Married fisherman from Aakra.

Thus; the Elias Olsen on the 1924 Carmania must be the one who dies in New Bedford in 1958. The Carmania manifest is misleading information.
How and where did you obtain the Carmania manifest?

Worth digging into the emigration to see if we can put to rest the question of who emigrated when.

Here is the meta data look at Elias Olsen from Akra in 1924

1924

Looks like he also travelled from Canada in 1929 as well.

1929

NOTE

From 1919–1924 individual manifest forms (Form 30A) were often used instead of passenger lists as the official immigration record. The use of Form 30A, also known as “Ocean Arrivals”, accounts for most of the gaps in years covered in this database. Ancestry will be adding the “Ocean Arrivals” records in the coming months. If you do not find an individual in this database, you may want to try searching the “Ocean Arrivals” records.

Here is the arrivals form

Elias Olsen
in the Canada, Ocean Arrivals (Form 30A), 1919-1924
Name: Elias Olsen
Gender: Male
Estimated Birth Year: abt 1898
Birth Place: Norway
Age: 26
Date of Arrival: Apr 1924
Port of Arrival: Quebec
Port of Departure: Stavanger, Norway
Ship Name: Carmania

No sign of any wife in the arrival record from 1924. Instead, the nearest neighbour is mentioned....

It actually says "s" for single. Maybe she's married and he isn't? That happens today too....But check out the Karmøy bygdebok, there are lots of Elias' but not so many Elias Olsen b 1897-1899
